## Dual Path to Leadership Roles

Connect uses a **Dual Path qualification system** to make leadership progression more flexible. You can achieve each role (Ambassador C1–C8) in either of two ways:

### Structured Path (Leader Development Route)

* Advance step by step by developing qualified leaders at the previous role.
* Each role requires a number of **qualified leaders** + **direct referrals**.
* Example: To qualify for **Ambassador C2**, you need to develop **2 × Ambassador C1 leaders** plus 3 directs.

### Volume Path (Sales Volume Route)

* Qualify directly by hitting a **team sales volume threshold** plus directs.
* No structured leader requirement — this path is based on pure sales output.
* Example: To qualify for **Ambassador C2**, you need **$15,000 in team sales** plus 3 directs.

* Structured Path → supports stable team development.
* Volume Path → rewards strong sales performance.
* Either path counts — whichever comes first qualifies you.

## 🌐 Breakaway Bonus (Core Earnings)

The Breakaway Bonus is one of the most powerful rewards in Connect. It allows you to benefit from **all team sales volume**, down to infinite depth.

### 🔹 How it works

* Paid on **all team sales volume**.
* **Base % always applies** (even if you only have 1 qualifying line).
* To unlock higher % tiers, you need multiple qualifying lines (25%, 10%, 5%, 2%).
* **Difference Rule** → You earn the difference between your Breakaway % and your downline leaders’ %.
* If your % is the same as theirs, you don’t earn Breakaway on that line — but you unlock **Positive Breakaway multipliers** in the Pool Bonuses, so you still benefit.

### 🔹 Real-life example

* You are a **C5 Leader** with a **20% Breakaway %**
* You introduced **X**, who is an **Ambassador** **C3 Leader** with a **15% Breakaway %**.
* X’s team generates **$10,000 volume**.

#### **Here’s what happens:**

* X earns **15% = $1,500** from his team’s sales.
* You earn the **difference** (20% – 15% = 5%) = **$500**.

Even though you didn’t make the sales yourself, you still benefit — because Breakaway applies to **infinite depth** in your organization.

* You earn from **unlimited levels deep**, not just your directs.
* The bigger your team grows, the more sales volume you benefit from.
* It’s fair and transparent — if your leaders reach your level, you don’t lose income. Instead, you gain Pool Bonus multipliers.
